We are happy to work with our customers on any reasonable return/refund request. Just send an email to CustomerService@WoodFinishesPlus.com and we will get back with you as quickly as possible. Once approved, we will provide you with a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) number. We are unable to accept returns that are not accompanied by an approved RGA number.
Return requests must be received within 30 days of purchase. Approved return items must be received within 45 days of purchase. To be eligible for credit, original item must be unused, must be in original, undamaged packing and must include all original content (tools, brochures, instructions, etc.).
Examples of items for which we are unable to accept returns include, but are not limited to: Tinted Items, special order items and non-stock items. Stock items in larger quantities will be reviewed on a case-by-case bases. All other return requests are at the sole discretion of WoodFinishesPlus.com.
WoodFinishesPlus.com shall not be liable for any costs or other liabilities associated with any delay by your bank, credit card company, or other financial institution in processing your refund. Refunds will be issued to/in the original form of payment.
A restock fee of up to 35% plus any additional charges (shipping and handling, etc.) may apply.
Tinted items are those items that are mixed to the customer’s specifications. This includes, but is not limited to, any item where a color name is included with the customer’s order, whether it be an existing color name offered by WoodFinishesPlus.com or a new color name provided by the customer.
Items damaged during shipment must be reported to WoodFinishesPlus.com within 24 hours of order delivery by emailing CustomerService@WoodFinishesPlus.com. The email must contain the original order number, a description of the damage and any known circumstances leading to said damage, along with photos clearly indicating the damage to both the item(s) and the original shipping container(s). Customer understands and acknowledges that with items such as (but not limited to) liquid products, damage can occur to the shipping and/or material container to the point where some liquid may escape the container.
Customer is responsible for verifying the accuracy and proper working condition of all items prior to full scale use. We will extend a full refund in the event of an order discrepancy clearly caused by WoodFinishesPlus.com. Customer is responsible for all costs associated with a return if it is found discrepancy is not clearly caused by WoodFinishesPlus.com. See “Returns/Refunds” section for more information.
In no event shall WoodFinishesPlus.com be liable for the cost of labor. In no event shall WoodFinishesPlus.com be liable for indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages.
WoodFinishesPlus.com will make all reasonable efforts to honor order cancellation requests. There may be situations where we are unable to cancel certain items once the order has been initiated. An example includes, but is not limited to, Tinted Items.
In cases where one or more items cannot be cancelled, those items will be shipped and all standard order charges will apply. Any remaining items that can be cancelled will be removed from the order and credited.
All warranties are dictated entirely by the original manufacturer and thus vary by brand, item, etc. Please refer to manufacturer’s documentation and/or website for complete details. Container Sizes and Material Fill Volume
Some of our manufacturers package their products in metric containers that do not conform with U.S. industry standard packaging. In addition, these metric containers are often fragile and are prone to damage during shipping. In such cases, we repackage the material into Standard container sizes (gallon, quart, etc.). This helps keep shipping costs down and minimizes damage during shipping.
In cases where a product is designed to be tinted, the container will be filled such that room is left for the maximum level of tint recommended by the manufacturer. In cases where the product is tinted by weight, the fill level will be adjusted to the nearest weight level that lends itself to accurate and consistent tinting from container to container. In cases where a material is meant to be catalyzed (required or optional), we oftentimes short the container to make room for the required amount of catalyst (also referred to as hardener, activator, etc.). In cases where a product is meant to be tinted and catalyzed, we typically only account for the tint as outlined above.
In all cases, the price of a given product/container has taken into account the actual amount of material in the container.
